I'm so excited to share my new school teacher inspired dress with you guys! At first, I wasn't too sure about it because it looked to plain and it didn't seem like it had any life in it. But ever since I put it on; I felt like I was ready to go out there and face the world in my new scholarly get-up.
The dress has a really pretty print! The colors on the print are teal, vintage rose, brown, on a grey background. The vintage rose color is on the collar and on the buttons row itself. It also has a matching sash, that I tied in a bow on the front. However...there was one thing about the dress that made me hesitate a little, and that's the fact that the material is very thin and it does not have a lining. So I did manage to fix that by wearing a slip underneath and it definitely helped! I just want to say....Thank You www.shopruche.com for making this dress!

I'm Green with Envy
THESE are the actual pictures of the outfit I wanted to share with you guys. Today I felt like wearing green because I was envious of the fact that I did not get to enjoy the beautiful hot weather with all those people lounging out in front of my workplace. It would be awesome if on days like these work would let me leave early to enjoy it, but no can do. So to compensate for that, I figured I would wear a color that would reflect how I was feeling.
I wanted to mix the different greens from my top and the skirt to bring out the little peach flowers that are on the print of this skirt. I love floral prints and anything with flowers because they look so pretty and besides that they don't give me allergies :)

Strike a Pose
Black v-neck sweater: Target
Grey Slacks: ?
Belt: Forever 21
Wayfarers: Ray Ban
Leopard Gladiator Wedges: H&M
Just so you all know....this is my second posting for today along with a second outfit, due to the fact that I have to work after school. So I had to change! Besides... I don't really think my job would appreciate it if I brought Beatlemania to work.
I decided to go with a more conservative look to work today, but while also adding a touch of wild to it. I mean....the animals need to be let out of their cage sometimes, don't they? I would also like to say that these shoes don't really get too much wear with them being so fierce and all, so any chance I could get to rock these bad boys....I had to jump on it! Look out, you conservative bank customers, a leopard your way comes!
Across the Universe
Cardigan: Nordstrom Rack
Beatles T-shirt: Target (men's dept.)
Jeans: Mervyn's (we had our good times)
Sandal Flats: Kohl's
It's Beatlemania! My tribute to the greatest and most influential band ever: THE BEATLES. They have songs that we all know and love, and they continue to rock even after they broke up as a band.
Since today was a school day, and I was running late, I decided to bust out out with this casual outfit. What can I say?! Sometimes your on time, and sometimes...well... your just not on their time!
Zooey Deschanel is Awesome!!
Just a little song by Zooey Deschanel's band: She & Him. I hope you enjoy it!
I love this picture of her and I like her sense of fashion. It's vintage romantico! Zooey is definitely someone I look at for fashion ideas, a good movie to see, and now..... good music!

My newest addition!
Okay.......first of all, let me start off by saying that my love of Coach, came from my wonderful sister Miriam. She was the one who took me to this store, that was filled with pretty purses in different styles and colors. I will never forget how excited I was to have bought my first little ( and I mean little!) Coach handbag. It was the black and grey signature mini handbag. That is where the madness began because after that, I was HOOKED!
But anyways, getting back to this one. I just love everything about this bag. I love the color; which they call it walnut, but to me, it looks more like a cognac. Anyways..... it's called the Ashley Leather Carryall, for those of you interested, and you could find this little gem, right now! Hurry! It's at the Napa and Vacaville Outlets!
I also want to add that this purse is very versatile, you can carry it on your arm and it comes with a strap to hang it on your shoulder. An addition which I find very important when you need to have one hand free for a Starbucks coffee and the other to hold your shopping bags or books. Miriam, you know what I mean!

Today, I decided to take my photos outside. The weather was a bit hot for the cardigan, but hey, sometimes in the name of fashion we have to go to extremes. So today, I bravely managed the heat, and took these photos with the help of a friend. I'm a little happy that I got to have a little fun with my backdrops and show you guys a bit of where I live.
In this picture, I ran out of ways to pose so this is what I came up with. Not bad, huh?!
I love, love, love how this picture came out! I managed to use a bit of my photography skills on Picasa, and was able to do this! Don't you just love my dreamy look? Haha.
