Printed Pants are Awesome!

So I just recently fell into the whole printed pants trend, and let me just say...I love it! I love the fact that I can wear prints not only on my tops, but now I can wear them on my bottoms and I couldn't be happier! The good thing about this trend is that it makes it possible to play around with different styles, while also taking a risk.

Take for example these pants I decided to pick up at my local H&M. To me, they look like a cross between a cosmic and splattered paint print. But who knows, they could be something totally different. But what I love about them, is that I can wear them casual like I chose to do in this outfit, or I can dress it up with a blazer and heels, and turn it into a much more dressier ensemble.

But yeah, so the printed pants trend is going to be big for the 2012 Fall season, so I suggest you guys go and look for some printed pants to rock in the Fall. I have already started, as you guys can already tell but I promise you, I am no way near to being done with purchasing more. I have yet to acquire some in a floral pattern. That will be my next hunt. What are some of the Fall trends that you guys are going to be following this year?! Let me know by leaving me a comment, or feel free to shoot me an email or whatever you guys feel like doing.

OutsideLands Fest 2012 Part 2

These are the last pictures for the Outside Lands festival. Unfortunately, I am feeling out of sorts today and this post would be on the bright side but I guess sometimes we have our ups and other times we have our downs, and for me, this is one of those days.
I would like to say that this day ended really great. Hence, the last pictures shown in the post.

So I ask you guys to excuse my short post. Once I have a couple days to figure things out in my life, I will be back to posting a bit more. Thanks for keeping up with my little blog, even if I don't always post, I still keep you guys in my thoughts.

Outside Lands Fest 2012 part 1

A word of caution; this is an extremely picture heavy post and as the title says, these are Outside Land Festival photos! I attended two out of the three days of said festivities that happened in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. I got the chance to see Metallica, one of my all-time favorite bands play, as well as Regina Spektor, The Kills, Fun, Jack White, and even Stevie Wonder. It was the New Age Woodstock for those of you who want to know what it was like. Picture pretty ladies in pretty dresses with flowers in their hair and awesome guys in interesting get-ups. If you guys ever get the chance to attend, I truly, truly recommend that you go.

As for the outfit, I decided to keep it really casual and non-fussy because I wanted my shoes to be the focal point. These boots represent me perfectly because they are tough with a girly edge and that's exactly what I'm like. I also went ahead and changed out my normal black laces and replaced them with these pretty satiny ones that also came with the boots. However, if any of you are wondering how comfortable these babies are to wear in a festival that lasted over 10 hours, you can go ahead and ask me! They were fine for at least 7 hours, till after when my legs felt like they were carrying 20 pound bags of sugar on them. Man were they heavy! Oh well.... it's the price that comes with fashion.

I could talk about my love for these boots for hours but I won't get in to that. Let's just say that they take some time to break into and that during this time, be prepared to suffer with a few blisters here and there. But anyways, onwards to festival talk......

This picture above was taken at wonder world, a cute little wooden stage lived here in which people covered in different costumes and white paint played some awesome Beatle songs. I especially like the banjo playing, way cool man!!

Hanging Candy Balls!

Lastly, this last picture with a random guy wearing a really huge hat made it in here because he was head banging like crazy, and I found it awesome that the hat managed to stay on his head the entire time. This was one amazing day! Stay tuned tomorrow for part 2 of my concert photos.

A Maxi Kind of Day

I'm back again! But I must warn you guys that it most likely won't be every day that I do a post. I just came back from my cruise to Mexico and just enjoying life in general, that I have put blogging on the back burner. But I will atleast try to post a bit more than I have been.

I have been enjoying this years' summer to no end, that blogging is the last thing on my mind. However, it is not out of my mind. But you guys can understand that when you choose to enjoy life, sometimes you forget to capture it on film because you just want to enjoy the moment. So I ask that you guys cope with me and keep on staying tuned.

These pictures are from a few weeks ago and I just remembered I had them. This maxi dress was purchased from my Memorial Day road trip to Disneyland. I have pictures on that too but I will have to hold off a bit more. Gotta scale them down.

I decided to pair this dress with my blue sandals to add a pop of color to the outfit. I think the peacock earrings also added a bit more flair to the look. I truly love this dress for the color and the material. It's a muted green but I feel that it can go for many different seasons. Not only summer. Ahh the joy of wearing a maxi dress and having it make you feel as if you are much taller than you really are. At least that's what I think.

What do you guys think about maxi's? How do you guys like to style them?
