Yesterday is Today

Dress, Hat: Target
Sandals: Kohl's
Necklace: Forever 21

Okay, so this post is actually yesterday's post and tomorrows' post will be my Fourth of July post. Sorry for the mix-up guys but I am a day behind. I mean it's a three day weekend for crying out loud!!!
So about this dress, I just cannot believe how stores can be so tricky sometimes! I found this dress at Target one day I was going there to buy shampoo. I know I did it again! But buying something on a whim, is much more fun than buying something when you actually need it! This dress is one of my favorites, not only is it floral but it has hidden pockets, lace, and the material is so soft and airy, it feels like I'm floating in it.
So anyways, back to the story. I got this dress for a cool $14.99 and what to my surprise as I was shopping with my mom on Saturday, I see the exact same dress at Macy's for $39.99 original price! I could not believe my eyes! All I have to say about that is.....thank you Target for saving me a whole bunch of money! Has anyone of you ever gone through something like this?!

Blue Raspberry

Floral Blouse: Nordstrom Rack
Skirt: Forever 21 ?
Shoes: H&M

Sorry for the quick and sloppy picture guys! I didn't have much time to capture my outfit because this morning I was in a hurry to leave to work, and this evening I had to meet up with my sister's family for her anniversary. But anyways, this is what I wore to work today, kind of an impromptu outfit, but I think the colors worked. What do you guys think?

Everything's Coming Up Roses

Tank: Target
Floral Jumpsuit, Necklace: Forever 21
Flat Sandals: Kohl's

So this outfit is actually a two-in-one because these floral pants as they seem to be, are not, they are actually a jumpsuit! The reason for said jumpsuit not being a jumpsuit, is because I haven't got used to the fact of wearing something like this. It's almost like wearing a jumper and feeling like I'm 8 again. I will have to break from this feeling because it actually does look pretty cool!
So anyways I turned them into genie pants by rolling down the halter part of them. Very creative, huh?! So what do you guys think??? Should I have let them run free in all their jumpsuit glory or should I continue on keeping them captive?

Take a Picture

Embroidered Sweater, slip: Forever 21
SkirtH&M
Flats:Chinese Laundry

Today, was such a busy day at work that I had so much down time. I proceeded to look for thing or two online, but I couldn't think of anything to look up! You know there's a problem when things are so slow,
that you run out of things to surf on at the web! I mean come on already..... I WANNA WORK!!! J/K
As for the skirt ensemble, I decided to wear this skirt because of the colors and because it has FLOWERS! Yep.... flowers, my favorite print!
So as you can see above, it was a very windy day, which made it hard for me to control my skirt. But thank goodness I tamed it a bit in some pictures; I was almost starting to feel like Marilyn Monroe for a minute there! The wind was super crazy and super cold! I ask you...... where is summer for crying out loud??!! I'm ready to wear my pretty dresses, skirts, and feel the hot sun on my skin!
As for the title of this post, I picked it because of the song: "Take a Picture" by Filter. It happened to pop into my head while my photographer was taking the pictures, and just like when the song says: " I feel like a newborn" it was exactly how I felt at that particular time. Ah the memories! Take a listen.....

Midi Maxi Skirt

Cardigan, Tank: Target
Skirt: Thrifted
Sandals: Sway
Necklace, Belt: Forever 21

Let me just say: I love this outfit!!!! Yeah, I know I said that myself but who cares?! I do! What I like most about it is the skirt. I got it from this really dirty thrift store, which I happened to find along with this one. That was a really bad experience in which my poor mom ended up with this bad sneezing fit, due to all the dust in the store. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back!
So anyways, this outfit ended up being perfect for today because it was finally sunny. I really like the length of this skirt because it allows me to show a bit of leg without going all out. Oh and the floral print is another plus! It's good to know that some good came out of that bad thrift store experience. Have you guys had any bad thrift/vintage store experiences????

Pink & Mint

Button-up Blouse: Target + (DIY)
Skinnies, Belt: Forever 21
Converse- Chuck Taylor's: Converse outlet

My day off today! Yay! So in honor of my having a relaxing work-free day, I decided to keep things simple by wearing something that didn't require much thought. This top, which I altered myself; originally had boring white buttons but I decided to spruce things up a bit and add silver fun looking buttons instead.  It really changed the look of the shirt and actually I think it gives it more life. I just wished I would have taken closer pictures of the buttons so that you guys could have seen them. The belt, is FLORAL! Gotta love those flowers!
My shoes, are a beautiful mint color. MINT! Don't you love it?! Although I have a hard time figuring out outfits around them, I still do love them. Any suggestions people?! Let me hear your ideas please!

Polka Dots & Florals

Posted by Picasa
Dress, Tights, Sunglasses: Target
Lace Slip: Forever 21
Flats: Chinese Laundry

The weekend is finally here AND it was so sunny and gorgeous outside! I love days like this when I can finally shed my work outfits and wear my fun outfits! Today was a fun day. My mom and I went thrifting and she showed me this cool consignment shop that has everything from: Antiques, clothes, vintage stuff, and furniture. I wanted to buy these cool vintage chairs along with this pretty cherry wood table with little drawers but I couldn't afford all that. So to make up for it, I ended up buying CLOTHES! The last post shows what I got.
As for today's outfit, I opted for this cute little floral dress which I found on sale at Target . I decided to pair it with these polka dot tights to mix it up a little. I did however, had to wear a slip underneath this dress because unfortunately, the material was very thin to wear without anything under it. I like how this dress has hidden pockets and that it's the perfect length for me! I just wonder what other ways I can wear this dress.....any suggestions???

So as you guys can see, my special guest is none other than my little niece! She will probably follow in her favorite aunt's footsteps and become the future blogger of tomorrow! I mean if you take a look at her, she's got the outfit down to a tee, and the pose, well you guys see the pictures above! I guess it must run in the family. But as far as I can tell, I will have to get some pointers on my poses from her!
So as for the outfit, I didn't really have anything planned because today was my last final for the semester and I needed to study. So this was it! Sorry guys for the lack of effort in the outfit, but well......school is important!

Field day

 Chambray top: Target
Floral Tank: Forever 21
Skinny jeants: Forever 21
Boots: Steve Madden
Purse: Coach
Cuff: Kohl's

Today was a very easy going day. I did not have much planned today except for taking some outfit pictures and working on my last final for this semester. Which, I still have yet to do....but no worries, I always work best when I'm cutting it close to the wire. What can I say.......I'm a bit of a procrastinator! Aren't we all a little sometimes?!
Well anyways getting back to the outfit, I thought it best to stick to my favorite.....FLORALS! Yep,I am yet again wearing florals, it's almost like my staple. Hmmm.....I wonder if one day I will get so tired of wearing florals, that I refuse to even look at a living one. Nah...who am I kidding? Flowers are pretty, and they belong everywhere..... including clothes! So it is best to say, that my love for florals is here to stay.
