So.... before I go and start my rambling on this outfit, may I just say: I LOVE my new purse! Isn't it it just lovely?! I FINALLY managed to buy this purse after keeping my eye on it for a few months now. I saw this beauty while thrifting with my mom a few months ago at our local thrift store. It had been sitting on the shelf, being ignored by everyone, and collecting dust. But because I saw it's true beauty I could not pass it on any longer. The purse is from the 50s early 60s, and it has a two pockets and one in the middle that closes with some king of gold hardware. I'm not really sure what you call those but I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. So this Saturday, I snatched it up and made it my own! Not only did I buy a few other goodies at this this thrift store but, my mother and I managed to go to a new thrift store in Petaluma and boy, did we score big!
At the one in Petaluma, I managed to acquire this beautiful hand painted necklace. I'm not sure from what time period it could be, but I knew I had to have it. Plus, it has flowers on it and you guys know of my love for anything floral.
So as for the outfit, I had been wanting to get shorts like this for a while now and I finally bit the bullet, when I was shopping at Forever 21 with my friend. I am really liking the sorts with stockings trend because it allows me to show some leg, without REALLY showing leg. Ha ha. Do you guys like it? Oh and as for my white button-up, I'm trying to adjust to it because I don't really like to wear white but people tell me it looks good on me, so I may just wear it a bit more. Please share your opinions with me on the matter and thanks to all my followers who continue on supporting my blog, even when I haven't been posting regularly. I really appreciate it!!!

Blustery Day

Today's outfit wasn't really something I thought of as something special, in fact, the only thing I really put any thought into was the pretty necklace. As you can see in the last picture, it really is special. There's romance happening around my neck, and it's a vintage one! I love it because it has a lot of whimsical features.....from the flowers, to the butterflies, the pretty pinks with gold, and it even has feathers! When I saw this at Forever 21, I knew it had to be mine because it had flowers, AND because I'm a sucker for anything floral. So I killed two birds with one stone as they say....or in my case, I bought two pretty things with one shiny plastic card! The other necklace I bought I will debut later.
The place where I took these pictures was very windy, so I can't even begin to tell you how many shots I had to take to get a few good pictures! In the end, I chose these..... and not too bad if I say so myself!
