I think THIS is my favorite outfit yet!   It's casual cool  with slight pieces of girly pretty. Plus.... I really like wearing jeans and these are an awesome blue color, which the pictures don't really capture (just take my word for it).

Parking lot

Cardigan: Forever 21
Floral blouse: Nordstrom Rack
Slacks: Choice
Tank: Target
Flats: Chinese Laundry
So today, it was a very long and boring work day.Beginning with a whole lot of nothing and ending with a whole lot of nothing. I didn't get a chance to go and take some better pictures because I had to work as a translator after work. So because I knew it would be a dull day,  my outfit had to consist of something brighter. Someone has to spice things up!

Blustery Day

Today's outfit wasn't really something I thought of as something special, in fact, the only thing I really put any thought into was the pretty necklace. As you can see in the last picture, it really is special. There's romance happening around my neck, and it's a vintage one! I love it because it has a lot of whimsical features.....from the flowers, to the butterflies, the pretty pinks with gold, and it even has feathers! When I saw this at Forever 21, I knew it had to be mine because it had flowers, AND because I'm a sucker for anything floral. So I killed two birds with one stone as they say....or in my case, I bought two pretty things with one shiny plastic card! The other necklace I bought I will debut later.
The place where I took these pictures was very windy, so I can't even begin to tell you how many shots I had to take to get a few good pictures! In the end, I chose these..... and not too bad if I say so myself!

Running Late

Class today and late again.... ugh! So due to the fact that I could not get an outfit together, I atleast had to share with you,  my shoes! Aren't they lovely?! I bought these beauties at Nordstrom Rack and it was the best purchase I've made there yet! Perfect for a day when you're running late and you atleast want something pretty on your feet. I know they're sneakers, but they are still pretty!

Mother's Day!

So in honor of Mother's Day, I decided to wear this pretty dress I found at H&M for $20.00! Yep...$20.00! I couldn't believe my luck, when I walked up to the register expecting to pay full price, and she tells me that it's on sale for 20! Boy was I in heaven!
It was funny how this little creation just seemed to call out to me amongst a sea of sale clothes. Luckily, though, I am pretty good at digging for things (and I don't mind me saying that) and I happened to find it deep in the back of the rack of clothes. All I had managed to see, was a little bit of the peachy pink ruffle sneaking out between a fur coat thing and that was all I needed to see, because I fell in love and I knew I had to have it! And have it I did! Sometimes......good things come to those who wait, or in my case.....dig!

I really like everything about this out look......from the shoes, the accessories, the leopard vest, and to top it all off, the braided hairstyle. I think I will have to go on a treasure hunt and try to find those wedge booties she has. I mean.....fall is coming up.....in another four months!

A wonderland of my own!

Stripe Tee: H&M
Floral Skirt: H&M
Belt: Forever 21
Flats: Chinese Laundry

Today, I went to visit my sister and niece and have some girl bonding time! We don't get to spend too much time together,so I felt I needed to make the drive and fix that. So for the outfit, I decided to step it up a notch because we would be having photo op time with my niece. Unfortunately, she did not make it into the shots because she "does not like her picture taken!". Next time, I will have to sneak her cute little self into my shots. I hope you are reading this Teresita!
So this ensemble, was a test to see if I could pull off the stripes with floral look. I have not been able to try this and I actually like how it came out! In fact....it almost looks like it was a dress! It was a bit difficult to see how the colors would all work together and how the different prints would collide. But they did and I'm happy for that!
As for the shots, it was nice to pretend to be Alice in Wonderland; with the way too small house and the floral garden surrounded by a white picket fence. Hmm...... I think next time I will search for the white rabbit! Therefore, "Good-bye Dina, good- byyyeeeee!"
