It was a rainy day today, so I had to dress accordingly. However, that didn't really work because my outfit wasn't really warm, in fact it was anything but warm! The not-so-dressed-accordingly-moment was all my fault because I had to wear this pretty bowtie tank today with these forest green skinnies. I just had to! Besides, don't we all sacrifice at some moment in time in the name of fashion?! Well, I do!

Today it rained, so I had to compensate by wearing a happy fun color: Yellow! I figured that since outside it was gloomy, inside it had to be lively and happy. When wearing colors like these, you always want to spice things up a bit by adding a bit of color. So since my lovely yellows came in from Amazon, they had to make a cameo on a day like this. Thanks again to Amazon for providing me with these wonderful beauties! "Good Day Sunshine!"

Today was a very easy going day. I did not have much planned today except for taking some outfit pictures and working on my last final for this semester. Which, I still have yet to do....but no worries, I always work best when I'm cutting it close to the wire. What can I say.......I'm a bit of a procrastinator! Aren't we all a little sometimes?!

Well anyways getting back to the outfit, I thought it best to stick to my favorite.....FLORALS! Yep,I am yet again wearing florals, it's almost like my staple. Hmmm.....I wonder if one day I will get so tired of wearing florals, that I refuse to even look at a living one. Nah...who am I kidding? Flowers are pretty, and they belong everywhere..... including clothes! So it is best to say, that my love for florals is here to stay.

Thrift find!

I forgot to mention in my last post that I went to Berkley's Buffalo Exchange and I found these lovelies! Don't cha love em'?! Ooopsss....the picture came out to dark, but the color of these shoes are a delicious chocolate brown!

I think today; I should have layered a bit more or thrown on some jeans because it was really cold and really windy! Also....I think I might have shrunk the dress I'm wearing a little when I washed it because I remember it being a bit longer, oh well, I guess it's okay to show a bit more leg when wearing with tights. As for the clogs, I felt like I was back in the 60's with them and with the dress. All I needed was to add some flowers in my hair and the look would have been complete! I think the inner flower child in me was trying to free itself a little. Hence, the following song to pull everything together:

Embroidery Chic

Today's work outfit consisted of this beautiful sweater I found for $10.00 at Forever 21. Isn't it it pretty?! I really like the color of it, it's not quite pink, and it's not quite mauve........it's pinkish mauve! I figured the grey needed a little pick-me-up so I went with this sweater. It was just enough color to give it a little oomph. I made the embroidery the center picture because I figured something as pretty as that, needed to be at center stage. Agree or disagree?!

I had been looking for a pretty pair of yellow flats for awhile, and I found them in the exact color and style I wanted through you guys. I can't wait to wear them and see how I can incorporate them into my outfits!
