A Skirt to Remember

Sweater: Target
Skirt: Thrifted
Necklace: Forever 21
Flats: Chinese Laundry

Sometimes the unexpected is a good thing, it can make you see things in ways you never thought of before, it can open your eyes to something new and exciting, or it can make you blind to certain things. Take for example this skirt....when I first saw it I thought, "It's perfect!" But then I realized, it wasn't! You guys can't really tell but this skirt is too big for me, it kept clinging to my tights, and the length was longer than I thought! But I still like it because of the color and the pretty pattern, so even though it has all those things I still see it's true beauty. It's like most things in life, you take things as they come. Any ideas of how I can remix this skirt???

I love this skirt, what a gorgeous pattern! As for re-mixing? I usually opt for a wide tight belt to secure my skirts and then add a sweet ruffled cami or cardy. Hope you're having a wonderful Thursday hun. xx veronika

@Girl And Closet: Thank you! i will definitely try a wide belt to mix it up and actually it's funny you mention the ruffled cami because I was going to wear that but it got cold and I opted for the sweater instead. I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday too!

It is a cute skirt:) What about a quick hem job and then you can tuck in a blouse and belt it?

@The Daily Fashionista: Great idea! I will definitely have to look into getting it hemmed.
