Right On Target

Chambray Top: Target
Floral Dress: Target
Tights: Target
Suede Moccasins: Mervyn's (R.I.P)
Necklace: Ross

First off, let me start off by saying: I LOVE TARGET! Why, you ask?! Well....not only do they have affordable merchandise, but they make it easy to be able to shop for clothes AND food all at the same time! What could be better than that?! It's like killing two birds with one stone, not that I would literally kill birds, but you get my point!
So...this is the Target dress I mentioned in my second to last post (I think?). Not only was the dress from Target, but pretty much everything else was too! Let me also say that, this, was accidental. I did not mean for the entire outfit to be from Target, but hey, sometimes things just happen! Isn't it pretty?! I love the little pink and white flowers on it but I really liked the soft flowy material. Oh by the way, this dress, has a sister! Not a twin sister, but a sister none the less. See it here. So, I ask you guys, did I make up for my lack of regular posting? Yes? No?

Tree of Knowledge

Headband: Thrifted, Vintage
Embroidered Blouse: Thrifted
Jeans: Macy's
Woven Sling-back Flats: Etsy

So this post actually didn't show the dress I got from Target, but I will be posting that one up tomorrow...I hope. Oh and another thing is that this is actually Saturday's outfit, not today's but bear with me. Soon enough I hope to get back on track here and do regular postings. But anyways, my mom, aunt, uncle, and I decided to go on a little thrift shopping excursion to see what I could find for my apartment. I didn't manage to find anything for it, however, I did manage to find MANY things for ME! I got a cute pleated skirt, a pair of leather flats, some really pretty embroidered socks, and two leather belts all for $2.50!!!! SCORE! Yep, I have to thank my mom for showing me the art of negotiating. Thanks mami!
So what things have you guys been able to find, while thrifting, all for under $3.00?

A Flower In The Thrift

Tank: Target
Maxi Skirt: Thrifted
Sandals: Sway
Necklace: Forever 21

So sorry for once again having a REALLY late post. But what with: work, life, packing for my new apartment, and deciding on; if I should buy clothes or apartment stuff, life has been a bit hectic for me. I will try to have regular posts for this week but please cope with me, I will be MOVING starting next Friday! Which means that I will have to try to fit in time to post pictures, work, and pack. Whew! I'm starting to get tired already!
So, it's on to......outfit time! Isn't this skirt just lovely?! I have had my eye on it for some time now, and I finally  purchased it sometime last week. I mean, if it was still there where I buried it, then it was meant to be mine! Oh and with the purchase of this skirt, it made me bring out my lovely red leather bow belt, which I love and have not been able to get much wear out of it. If you guys want a better look at it, I posted said belt here.
Oh and sorry for the crappy pictures, it was way too sunny EVERYWHERE!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post which will bring better pictures (I hope) and a very pretty Target find!

Sorry I have been absent guys but I have some very exciting news! I got my APARTMENT! Woohoo! I finally signed the lease yesterday and I am happy to say that I will be moving in on August 1st! I cannot wait to share with you guys a bit of my apartment decorating! Oh and be prepared to see a lot of floral.
I have been wanting to wear this top for a while now and I finally got the chance to wear it. I don't know if you guys remember, but I posted it on this post. So what do you guys think? To me, the top feels like the 60s because of the colors and the print. What is your take on my outfit?

Great news everyone! The apartment I have been waiting anxiously for is MINE! YAY! I sign the lease on Friday and come August 1st, this young gal will be moving into her brand new apartment and opening up a new chapter in her life! I can't wait to start decorating and making it my home!
Okay, okay, enough with the talking and let's get to my outfit! So since I have been preoccupied with hearing from the rental company about the apartment, I haven't kept up on my posting, let alone wear more exciting outfits. But not too worry, tomorrow I will be back with a bang, I hope.

Southwestern-ish

Top,Headband: Forever 21
Jeans: Macy's
Woven Sling-back Flats: Etsy

If you guys noticed, today I have done two posts in one day because ever since the long fourth of July weekend I have been behind. But do not worry I am now back on track. Dammit! It's past midnight, so now this post is late! Oh well!
Anyways.....today was a thrift/consignment/movie night day! I went to a few thrift stores with my mom today and I got a few things which I probably didn't need, but hey, gotta give in to temptation sometime, right?! I also went to my favorite consignment shop today to sell a couple of Coach bags I did not use anymore. Hopefully I get a good amount of money back so that I can use it to buy more things for my apartment!
Oh and the movie I got to see today I definitely recommend it if you guys want a good laugh. It was called Horrible Bosses and it was with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. It was hilarious! Now I can't wait for this next weekend because I will get to see the last Harry Potter movie along with the huge crowd of 10 year olds. Can't wait!

Blue, Brown, and Striped All Over

Cardigan, Necklace: Forever 21
Striped Tank: Ross
Brown Slacks: Choice
Flats: Chinese Laundry
Marc by Marc Jacobs watch: Gifted

I have been falling behind as far as posting daily, sorry guys! But with looking for an apartment, trying to get rid of some stuff before I move, and just living life, it has made this month very crazy.
So anyways this is my work outfit for yesterday. I call it, my nerdy cool outfit because I feel like all I would need with this is a pair of black-rimmed glasses to finish off the look. Hey..... I like it! Oh and excuse me for the lack of change in my backgrounds for my posts but sometimes it gets a little hard to go to a new locale and take pics. But at least I have pictures!
I was going to wear my hunter green cardigan but I opted for the blue. Did I make a good choice or should I have gone with the green? Comments are greatly appreciated, thank you!

Pleated Up

Dress (as top), Sandals: Ross
Necklace: Mervyn's

Back to work and back to the grind! Why oh why can't three day weekends extend to four day weekends?! They always go by so quickly and most especially when you are having fun!Oh well.
Well anyways, here is my I-just-signed-the-application-for-my-first-apartment outfit! What do you guys think? I really like the pleats on this skirt and the floral print is another plus. By the way, the skirt is a new purchase from my excursion with my co-workers post. It is from Anthropologie and it was $20.00! Thanks Anthro! As for the top, it is actually this dress. I decided to remix it with this skirt because I was in a hurry to leave to work. I think the outfit looks okay, and the sandals, I added them in to give the outfit a bit of an edge.  As for my apartment, it is still to be seen. I have not received word from the lady but I hope I got it! Please keep your fingers crossed for me so that I can get this lovely apartment! Thanks everyone!

Cuatro De Julio

Hat: Ross
Top: TJ Maxx
Genie Pants: Anthro
Purse: Thrifted
Sandals: Kohl's
Earrings: Forever 21

Please excuse my late post but what can I say, I was enjoying my three day weekend! Who wouldn't?!
Well anyways this weekend brought a lot of exciting things: pool party, late night movie, Ikea excursion, and fireworks down by the waterfront. What more can I ask for? Oh wait....don't ask me that.
So anyways....this whole outfit was already planned for a month in advance, back when I bought this top at TJ's. I had the idea in my head and I knew I wanted to go for it. I found the pants last Friday on a whim, when my co-workers and I decided to hit up Anthropologie for a quick browse. When I tried on these pants and I felt how comfy and funky they were, I knew I wanted them. Even though I thought this outfit was perfect for the fourth of July, it really wasn't because I was really hot in it! I was literally, melting! The pants are a knit material and the blouse is black......BLACK! What was I thinking?! So what do you guys think of this one?

Yesterday is Today

Dress, Hat: Target
Sandals: Kohl's
Necklace: Forever 21

Okay, so this post is actually yesterday's post and tomorrows' post will be my Fourth of July post. Sorry for the mix-up guys but I am a day behind. I mean it's a three day weekend for crying out loud!!!
So about this dress, I just cannot believe how stores can be so tricky sometimes! I found this dress at Target one day I was going there to buy shampoo. I know I did it again! But buying something on a whim, is much more fun than buying something when you actually need it! This dress is one of my favorites, not only is it floral but it has hidden pockets, lace, and the material is so soft and airy, it feels like I'm floating in it.
So anyways, back to the story. I got this dress for a cool $14.99 and what to my surprise as I was shopping with my mom on Saturday, I see the exact same dress at Macy's for $39.99 original price! I could not believe my eyes! All I have to say about that is.....thank you Target for saving me a whole bunch of money! Has anyone of you ever gone through something like this?!
