So Ready for Summer!

So Ready for Summer!

Okay so I know it's not summer yet but the above swimsuits were calling my name and I just have to listen! I know that I am getting a little ahead of the seasons here and all, but I can't help it, with all these retail stores putting up their summer clothes it's kinda hard not to follow suit. But anyways, I have a predicament and that is: Which of these swimsuits should I purchase? I know that at first glance we might all say that the floral is SO cute and SO me, but the black IS a staple and classy, AND just an all around a swimsuit must.
So please help me by letting me know which of the above beauties shall I give in too. Comments are greatly apprciated and an absolute must on this matter!

Fun In San Francisco

Okay... so I finally put these up Tere! By the way, for those of you who keep up on my posting, Tere, is one of my followers/niece who I mention from time to time. It is because of her, that I have willed myself to do some regular posting. She constantly reminds me that there are people out there, who would love to see what other outfits I come up with; but being since I don't always blog daily, I am missing out on future followers. So I give her this. A blog post dedicated and featuring, her! Haha....I put you on here!

So these pictures are from the Martin Luther King holiday Monday that my niece, so very kindly spent with me. We decided to hit up the city to see what we could score at some vintage/ thrift shops. However, with not knowing where the shops were and not realizing that on most streets in San Francisco you cannot turn left, most of the morning there was spent getting semi-lost in union square. Not being able to turn left to turn back around was an exciting adventure in itself, and boy was that hilarious! I mean, it took us like 6 street lights to realize that we should probably turn right at some point instead of left to turn back around. But at least we managed to find a parking garage and meet up with my special person, who took us to a very fancy shmancy restaurant that served really weird dishes. Weird, but nonetheless good!

Next time we head to the city, I will try to be more prepared and plan out the day. A word of advice for those of you travelling from the Marin County Area going towards San Francisco: TAKE THE FERRY! DO NOT DRIVE!

Casual Cool

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I am so happy that tomorrow, I will get to enjoy another day off, due to the special holidays that those of who work at the banks get to enjoy. What can I say, I live the privileged life!

As for as this outfit, it was sort of spontaneous and out of the blue, but I like the way it came out! I really feel like the Chambray blazer really went well with the blue polka dot blouse. This blazer was an accidental find in which I fell victim to on a spontaneous shopping excursion to Marshall's with a friend. I was only supposed to accompany her to help her look for a a pair of boots. Next thing I know, we were both walking out of there with bagfuls of clothing each....AND I wasn't even supposed to buy anything!

Oh well.... I guess it's okay to give in to temptation sometime, especially when it involves a few cute articles of clothing. Has this ever happened to any one of you?! If it has, how did you ignore the feeling and should I have given in?

Jeans It Is!

I kind of went for a new age 90's look with this here outfit. It was a very cold day and silly me opted to bust out with my not-so-very-warm knit sweater, to you know; keep warm. NOT!
So I went for the Jean Jacket because for some reason I have been very drawn to wearing jean-y type things. I've also come to the realization that jean tops, jackets, or anything really DO tone certain things down.

So what do you guys think of this one? I feel that by wearing the skinny jeans with the jean jacket, really do take away from the 90's look. I feel like I belong in an episode of My So-Called Life. Do any one of you recall this show. It's one of my favorites and not to mention that Jared Leto WAS and IS a fox!

Feeling Girly

Back to work and feelin' okay! I would have enjoyed another few days off but unfortunately for me, it doesn't quite work that way in work world. Oh well!

So how was your guy's weekend? Mine was filled with awesome birthday party get-togethers and some long-needed down time. As for my birthday gifts, I received a few awesome things such as; a Hello Kitty Projection Alarm Clock, a vintage inspired apron, and this! I can finally play my records, that I have been acquiring during my random thrift adventures. Aren't birthdays just fabulous?!!! I think so!!!

A Little Bit Older

As shown above: It's my Birthday! Woohoo! I am so excited that I have had the chance to spend my birthday with some of the people I care about. I feel so very fortunate to have so many wonderful people around me every day; supporting me, and just plain being there for me whenever I need them. I also want to thank each and every one of my fellow blog friends who continue on inspiring me and continue to check out my humble little blog. Thank you all for including me in the blog world family and I hope to be able to share more of what I have to share with you guys.

I look forward to this year and all that it has in store for me. I can't wait! Bring on the changes 2012!

A Touch of Fur

These are the last of the back dated posts, so from now on I plan to post a bit more frequently. It was on my day off, and I felt like sharing a bit of my apartment with you guys. It's my room and as you can see, it is very white and girly. I have incorporated florals and my favorite color: purple!

The dress I am wearing was a spontaneous purchase brought on because of a spontaneous outing with my friend. I was not supposed to buy anything, but this dress just had to come home with me. It was yelling at me to 'pick it up' and take it home, so I obliged. I like the fit and the colors work well to mix with other stuff. I actually want to start playing a bit more with patterns and prints this year to mix it up because I usually tend to stay within the lines when it come to dressing, but this year I would like to be a bit more risque'.

I'm actually a bit excited for the weekend to come because in just 4 days, it will be MY BIRTHDAY! YAY! I will be another year older and I couldn't be happier! I am looking forward to this year because
I feel that many exciting things are bound to happen. I hope to travel alot this year and make it the best year in the last of my twenties. Yep I said it, the last of my twenties. Eeekk!!

Well I look forward to anything that life has to bring this year, and with it, I plan to focus a bit more on my blog and kind of revamp it a bit. I would also like to have a blogger meetup at my place and get to meet some of my followers and fellow blog friends. Let me know of any ideas for my blog or just anything that you guys think you would like to see. Comments and ideas are always welcome. Talk to you guys soon!

She's Going The Distance'

These photos are from New Year's Eve. Sorry for the lateness, but I might as well warn you guys, I will be back-tracking the next few days till I catch up.
I didn't get a chance to put them up that day, since it was kind of a hectic day the entire day. If any of you are wondering where these pictures were taken, they were from the Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway Track in Monterrey Bay. A few of my friends took their cars to test out the track and boy, was it fun! I didn't get to ride with special person because he was not able to get on the list, but.... it was still cool watching all the others go all Fast to the Furious out there. Mmm hmm..... I went there!

So in honor of this adventurous event, I decided to bust out with my most race track looking outfit! I think that by adding the leather bomber and motorcycle boots, it really made the outfit look racetrack chic. Oh and by the way....don't let this smile fool you, it was freakin' cold at that place! It was very close to the beach and very foggy that day, so you can imagine how cold I must have been.

Oh and if any of  you were wondering who is this devilish looking fellow that made it to my blog and took the pictures, well.... we'll just say that he is that special person I mentioned earlier in the post. I'm a sneaky one aren't I?!
