A Touch of the 70's

Scarf: Thrifted
Cardigan: Forever 21
Dress: Choice
Tights: Target
Flats: Chinese Laundry

Another beautiful sunny day........ stuck at work. I hate it that lately, when it's been gorgeous outside, it's a day I have to be at work. On the weekends, when one should be enjoying such beautiful days, it has to be ugly. Weather Gods, please make up your mind and deliver us nice, sunny, hot weather all summer long!
So to change things up a bit, I decided to wear this vintage 1970s scarf I found at a thrift store in Berkeley. Aren't the colors so beautiful and fun?! I must go back and get more pretty scarves to wear as headbands and belts! They are a nice way of adding a little extra something to your outfit, while also working to give you a new hairstyle. So what do you all think?

@jamie: Thanks so much for the sweet compliment! As for my favorite places to thrift in Berkeley are: Mars Mercantile and the Buffalo Exchange. I like Mars better because their prices are a bit more affordable especially for vintage stuff, as for the Buffalo Exchange, some things are overpriced. I guess we can have it all, right?!

@Girl and Closet: You should totally do the scarf as headband look, it's nice for summer because it holds your hair back just enough to get some air flowing through your neck.Hope your day is awesome too!

Gorgeous outfit!! I love the cute tights with it too. And I know how you feel about being stuck inside on pretty days. I work in customer service so I have customers telling me how gorgeous it is outside and then I'm stuck sucking on sour grapes;) hehe..
